Dieses Buch behandelt zwar auch die wichtigsten Grundlagen, jedoch passen die Lektionen nicht wirklich zu meinem Zeichenstil.Interessant ist, dass die Kapitelunterteilung nicht spezies- sondern themenorientiert ist (magisch, okkult, Familie etc.). Es ist durchaus inspirativ und ich kann einen Blick in das Kapitel zum Thema Kleidung wärmstens empfehlen.Dieses Buch ist besonders gut für Leute geeignet, die nach Inspirationsquellen zu verschiedenen Fantasy-Themen oder allgemein zu anthropomorphen Tieren suchen. Einem kompletten Anfänger würde ich es eher als inspirierendes Begleitbuch, statt als Lehrbuch empfehlen.
Ein sehr schönes Zeichenbuch von einem sehr guten Autor.Es enthält nachvollziehbare Schritt für Schritt -Anleitungen und nette Beispiele für den Körperaufbau.Das Buch gibt gute Anregunugen und führt einen in die Welt des Furry-Art ein.Allerdings bekommt das Buch nur 3 Sterne weil:Die Furrys an vielen Stellen zu Menschlich dargestellt sind. Anatomische Eigenheiten z.B. bei den Füßen werden einfach durch Menschliches ersetzt.Die Artenvielfalt ist meiner Meinung nach stark begrenzt. So besteht das Buch überwiegend aus Felinen und Wolfs/Hundeartigen.Auf das zeichnen von Pferdestaturen wird so ziemlich gar nicht eingegangen (nur ein zwei fertige Abbildungen) und auch Vogel und Fledermaus kommen hier nicht zum Zug.Sehr schade ist auch das die süßen Nager nicht genug Beachtung in ihrer Vielfalt finden und der Aufbau des Buches mehr chaotisch statt strukturiert ist.
